When does it vibrate, what speed? Do you feel it in the seats or steering wheel? Does it happen when you accell or brake? or cruise?

Car momentarally shutters at all speeds and gears more and more frequently after it is warmed up. You can feel it slightly at idle.

2002 dodge neon left rear wheel looks crookd and vibrating. just had shcocks alignment and stabilzers changed and still looks crooked

When you had the alignment done the place should have given you a printout of the changes. The mechanics might not have done a 4 alignment. At any rate if it is making noise it is most likely a bearing that is bad.

I HAVE A 2005 DODGE NEON 2.0 SXT MODEL. IT HAS 91,000 MILES AND HAS A SEVERE VIBRATION WHEN I ACCELERATE WE CHANGED THE MOTOR MOUNTS DID A FULL TUNE UP AND SEVERAL THINGS TO STOP THIS NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP...

We are looking to buy the same 2005 Dodge Neon 2.0 SXT that has 150,000 miles and it does the same thing - vibrates at acceleration and lacks power. We've been told by the buyer that a mechanic said the "Harmonic "Balancer" needs to be replaced. We are hoping to be able to bring the car to a mechanic tomorrow to find out what it is and if it is a major or minor repair (which will determine if we purchase the car or not!).

I have Dodge Neon 2003, I changed all 3 mounts, 2 engine and 1 transmission. But engine still shakes what is that?

Dodge neon has three mounts on the passenger side, Top , Middle and lower. The middle one will make it vibrate.

I feel a lot of noise at the driver side and some on the passenger side when I drive over bumps, would this be the struts? 1- what is the life cycle of the struts? 2- what is the life time for the timing...

1. it depends on the conditions the car is being driven for the struts. sounds more like a axel to me. 2. about every 100,000 miles for timingbelt. 3.check your power steering fluid. also make sure your belts are tightened right. if thats normal it may be your steering pump.

SERPENTINE BELT TENSIONER?IT IS PART OF FRONT ENGINE MOUNT BRACKET ASSEMBLY..YOU MUST REPLACE FRONT BRACKET/TENSIONER AS A COMPLETE ASSEMBLY..IT'S A BIT OF WORK..YOU HAVE TO REMOVE P/S PUMP,BOTH BELTS,UPPER ENGINE TORQUE STRUT,LOWER ENGINE TORQUE STRUT AND CRANKSHAFT PULLEY..AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS A DEALER PART
