You could try unplugging the Mass air flow sensor and driving the vehicle with it unplugged. The ecm will default a good reading for the MAF and if the car runs better or the problem is gone, replace the MAF.

My 2000 buick check engine light is on code,0102,0121,

Ned a LOT more info. I'll give it a shot:
Mass air flow sensor.

If the engine idles OK,find it first and rap on the sensor with a screwdreiver handle once and listen to the engine's RPM.

If it stumbles, replace the sensor. Hit it,again.

Car occassionally ran really rough-rpm went lo after a few mins. returned to normal.. Replaced the ign wires and 3 ign coils. Had a check engine light for years and have had an idndication that the mass...

Your problem was (most likely) the mass air-flow sensor. Try disconnecting the sensor, the car should run at default values. This will turn on your check engine light on again but it will indicate that the sensor should be replaced. You can clear the light with a scanner or disconnect the battery again.

Odb2 will not pwr up my snapon scanner on a 95 saab 900s

The OBDII Scanner will turn the ignition key forward but don't start vehicle and turn all lights and radio off and heater off. And plug the scanner in. Then it will run the codes and tell you what code(s) are write them down. Then you will hit the erase button to reset your engine light. If the light goes back on you have a problem it should stay off up to 50 miles if not then have your vehicle checked out usually it could be your O2 sensors or a MAF Sensor "MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR" that is faulty and or your intake tubes are loose allowing too much air flow in to the engine if this happens your car will be running too lean.

Good Luck!

I have a 1995 ford taurus engine stalls when idling and smells of gas when accelerating it bucks. Changed fuel filter, could it be mass air flow sensor?

Start with smaller problems and check the fuel pressure regulator, the mass air flow sensor for these vehicles is pretty pricy. Is the check engine light on? If so, head to your nearest auto zone and have them check for trouble codes. If the check engine light isn't on, its not likely your mass air flow sensor
