88 735 Alarm won't let me start car and I don't have remote.

The Battery in my 88 BMW 735 died out due to light I left on, I charged it an put it back in. Now the alarm which I don't have a remote for, is activated and won't let me start the car. Is there a way to bypass the alarm or to disable it?

You can probably pull the horn relay to kill the horn while you are working on the problem.
With the battery connected to a jumper, try locking and unlocking the driver's door with the key. If that works, make sure the battery gets charged before you unhook the jumper cables to keep the computer memory alive.

Keep charging battery an it dies

Sorry to say that it sounds like one of the cells in your battery has 'died'. It will show a full charge when sat on the bench but as soon as you put a heavy load (like the starter motor) on it it won't want to know. Only solution is a new battery.

it sounds like you have blown fuse to the Alternator.. I don't know what car you are talking about but they charging systems vary.. But if alternator isn't getting all the power it needs it won't charge. this should be checked.

good luck

Find the alarm and disconnect it, or locate the fuse to the alarm and remove it. Then you can charge the battery without all the noise. Once the battery is charged, hook the alarm up and disarm it with the remote.
