Replace the ignition coil by taking the three screws of the distributor cap and then taking the rotor and plastic gaurd over the ignition coil, then unscrew the leads and replace. then put everything back on and turn it over. if that doesnt fix it then you need a new ignitor which is in the same general area.

2000 gmc jimmy starts in AM fine won't start after sitting in sun all day

Can you jumper the fuel pump and make it start and continue to run ?
Have you checked to see if you are getting spark when it won't start ?
Could be a relay or coil, ignition module, or other component.

2002 saturn sl won't start, turn over but won't start

If the engine fires up for a second or two with starting fluid then the fuel pump is weak.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs then replace the pump and filter.

What about a92 Celica? You probably need to start by getting a Haynes Repair manual on your vehicle from the local Auto Parts store. It will cost you from $12 to $20 Dollars.

Put fuel in it,then check the fuel pressure with a gauge. The tank unit maybe giving a false reading.
