Question about 1986 Renault Sport
Removing the battery causes the computer to de-program. With the engine and ignition swith off, try removing the negative battery cable. Wait a while then replace it. Wait only a minute or 2. This will reprogram the computer . You may have to repeat the process a couple of times. If not the idle position sensor could be the problem.
