Yes, I can tell you how to bypass the security system. First does the ignition key have a resistor pellet in it?

First you need to get an Ohm meter. Then take the ohm meter and measure the resistance of the pellet in your key. Write down the resistance you need, then go to Radio Shack or somewhere else that sells resistors. Buy the combination of resistors you need to match the resistance of your key. When you have it right resistance with in 5% tolerance, then remove the lower cover of your dash below the steering column. Locate the orange cable coming out of the steering column. Slice open the cable it should contain two small white wires. Cut the two wires, and splice in the resistor on the side that goes into the dash. Then tape up your resistors and zip tie them out of the way. That's it, the car will think it has the right key in all the time. The reason you haft to do this is because the contacts go bad in the ignition lock cylinder and then it doesn't send the right resistance. The alternative to all of this is replacing the lock cylinder and having it rekeyed with another key with the same resistance as your old key.

I broke the driver side door opener by pulling too hard because the door was frozen shut with ice. Door opens from the inside but not from the outside

You have probably broken the linkage as a result. Take off the inner door panel to access the linkage ans see what the damage is. Remove the lik age and order a new one. Recerse the procedure for fitting. Remember to take a note of what you have done.

Hope this helps.

sounds like theres a problem with the ignition switch or the cylinder lock, your going to have to unplug harness connection under dash to see if radio goes out with the chime if it goes out when unpluged then the problem is in ingnition system, most likely its a jammed key sensor in cylinder, start there hope this helps,

1997 park ave battery dies over night

I just posted my experience in another place on this site but on my 1992 PA the accessories relay stuck closed. This relay is the one that allows you to listen to the radio etc and keep things on until you open the door then all shuts off. When it is stuck closed accessories keep running until your battery drains dead. The relay was replaced and all worked great.
