Question about 1998 Buick Park Avenue
BEST THING TO DO IS TO GET THE wire that goes to the bottom under dash to the key cylendor...THen you can have the security chip from the computer..If the computer is an exact match as in options and everything to a T engine size ect...You can swap out computers...I have before...
Dont let these ase techs lie to you....I had a computer get burnt up in my 98 regal...Got one out of the junkyard and a new key with ignition cylender and BAM I was done...Engine size ect was all the same...ALl powe r optiions all the same....
Or you pay 50$ a hr fpor most service shops (DEALERSHIP ONLY) and they will say it took 2 hrs and charge you 100-150$ its up to u which ever is easier for you...
