Hi, that radiator is the cooler for Automatic transmission! Replacement pattern part is available and are not all that expensive. Your only concern is how much of the auto box oil leaked, if any, and if that has caused damage to the box. When a pipe from the box to the cooler went on mine it wouldn't change into top, and when the pipe was repaired everything was OK. That was 4,000 miles ago!

Location of the fuel pump relay for p38 1998 range rover

Relays are located in the "under hood relay/fuse panel" on the passenger side between the radiator overflow and the battery. Remove the lid and on the underside of the lid you will find the diagram. The fuel pump relay will be indicated by a graphic of a fuel filling station pump. The relay itself is yellow. Also check the pump fuse, located in the same relay box and if needed check your inertia cutoff switch located in the passenger footewell. There is a panel to the right just under the glove box. It has a popout access door but its much easier to remover this small panel and providing clear access to the switch. Push down on the rubber cover on top of the switch. If it is engaged you are ok here. If when you push down you hear a click then the inertia cutoff was switched somehow and this cuts fuel supply. These switches have plastic internal parts and dont take much to fail. Hope this helps. Happy to provide further suggestions if you wish to repost more info. Good luck!

1998 range rover p38 2.5 dse auto engine stalls

Sounds like something is overheating then and possibly a sensor. Not familiar with Rovers but might be a problem with the CAS and/or CPS which tells the ECU the motor is running and when to fire. Also maybe the IAC is bad and when you go from throttle to idle it can't control it and allows it to die.
