What you have to da is get an A-frame under it then from there you should be able to detach a few things and after removing the engine mounts it should come right out

Remove engine from toyota coaster bus

Best from the bottom Take the lot (gearbox included). You may have to remove the engine mount brackets to allow the engine to move down. Support the engine assembly and lower it then lift the car up high enough to roll it out.

The alternator is located on lower back side of engine do i have to remove motor mounts and lift it up to remove alternator 99 taurus 3.0 liter

This 3.0 engine must be the dual overhead cam engine, the best way to remove the alternator on this car is to first remove the passenger side wheel, next take fasteners off the lower part of the splash sheild and pull it up and tie up out of the way, next you will see a cover on bottom of alternator, remove the two small screws that hold it and remove cover. next remove the belt, then remove the upper alt bolt and then the bottom bolt, pull alternator off bracket and turn to be able to remove cable and the connector going to alt, the alternator should come out the bottom now, if you need a little more room, then remove the nut on the rear and front mounts, the nuts are the lower ones, easy to get to, they go through the frame then use a jack with a small piece of wood and jack on the oil pan, put wood on bottom of pan then jack, this will avoid damage to pan, slowly jack engine until you have room, i was able to remove without jacking motor good day.

Do I have to remove the engine to remove the transmission from a 1997 ford escort lx automatic?

Yes and no. If you don't remove the engine the transaxle has to come out from the bottom in most cases. That means the cradle has to be lowered and the suspension taken apart.
