Question about 1995 Chevrolet G20
Three weeks ago we were on a ride when the van acted like it was running out of gas. We made it to the station and put gas in. After that, it had no power on a hill at all. The next day the computer read a Code 44. We had replaced Oxygen sensor, plugs, cap, rotor, coil. Checked for air leaks around the throttle body and don't remember what else. It willl idle, but as soon as you push on the gas pedal, it dies.
May be egr valve is what dont work. i replaced my with wrong one and it did do same like what problem you have and i get right one its work fine. i cant remember if car is eguipped with gas exhaust vent in passenger side exhaust pipe but check that also if its in there and vent is working proberly.it would open when engine is warn.
