STABILITY CONTROL FAILURE JAGUAR 3.2 V8

I had this problem with this vehicle due to a damaged ABS sensor on one of the wheels. It got damaged when a wheel bearing went bad. The amber ABS warning symbol also lights. Replacing the sensor cured the problem, something that can be done by an owner. They are expensive new but I got a cheap s/h one on eBay.
I currently have this problem again, but this time there is no servo assist on the brakes, a new and different symptom.

I have a 2002 jaguar vanden plas. The amber engine light stays light. The car performs fine with no other messages. I have hand a tune up at 38,000 miles at the local jaguar dealership. The car only...

The red light is for warning the amber is for caution so your caution light is on thats the amber the amber is reserved for local market like brake pads, oil change,or abs that affects steering stability, The information is exclusive only your driver handbook will define it

My traction and stability controll failure lights along with my ABS warning light are constantly on

i believe they are related to a abs problem. the car uses the abs to control the stability (braking on certain wheels when nessisary) there is probably a malfunction in the abs system that's why the light is on constantly. this would need to be looked at by a professional repair facility.

1999 jaguar xj8 with abs light on and stability control fail message, what is the problem with this? thanks.

abs modules work very hard. by the age of your car it seems that the abs module is packing up. the abs system has sensors on all four wheels that figures out braking, stability and control of the car when cornering. these do brake down over time and is part of the wear and tear side of things. you don't need to buy a new one. they do overhaul these things for much cheaper. your car magazines should advertize the fixing of these things or contact a scrapyard for a secondahand one. check if the abs sensors are not faulty and replace them. do not go to the agents, they will rip you off. good luck

Stability control fail Jaguar XJ8

this may sound crazy but what sort of fuel are you running? Try filling the car with premium 98 octane and run it - if you are running inferior grade or dirty fuel the throttle body sensors will register a differential in the burn/energy and throw a fault. The bad news is that a faulty throttle body will cause the same problem and cost a fortune to replace.
