Question about 1999 Pontiac Firebird

99 firebird light problem

I have a burned out front passenger low beam light. that's easy, but the bulbs seem to be fine on the blinkers, and the driver side blinks, but the passenger light does not. we had the front passenger blinker bulb changed less than 6 months ago, and it seems unlikely it's out again, at the same time as the headlight. any suggestions?

Check your wiring harness to breaks and shorts also check to see if water is getting into the turn signal lense through a crack

seems you have several different problems. High beam working and no low beams=dimmer switch is bad. Reverse lamp not working=bulb socket bad, wiring broke, bad ground at back

No headlights come on but high beams work as well as the other lights the fuses seem to be ok. Please help.

If your highbeams are working fine, you must be referring to your low beams not working I would simply check the 2 bulbs and make sure the low beam filament is good, theres a strong possibility that your BOTH low beam filaments are bad and require replacement of both headlight bulbs to get them working again its a very simple repair.....

the back ones have to be blinking alot faster since the fronts don't work, start by replacing the bulbs first.

Low-beams don't work

Nope - it's the combination switch (the lever-switch on the column) that turns the lights on and off. They're notorious for failure. A new one for a slightly newer car (like my 99 A4) runs $158 at ECS Tuning. Yours will be priced in that neighborhood as well. Removal of the airbag and steering wheel is required for changing it out. You can see a procedure at www.audiworld.com - click on Resources, then Tech, and choose either interior or electrical tech articles - it's in one of those areas. It's not difficult but it can be unnerving if you're working with an airbag.

Front blinkers

I think i had the same issue. When i armed the car alarm, the lights work fine, but when i use the signals they dont work. I changed them out today and found one side had burn marks from shorting out. I used bulb grease on the new ones and have had no issues. The signals blink fine now.
