My air is not all that cold and when I am stop at a red light it blows warm air it has plenty of Freon in it. What could it be?

If the air is cold when the vehicle is moving and goes warm when stopped, the fan at the rad/condenser may not be working,or working but not running fast enough.Sometimes there may be a second fan that comes on also.If the fan/fans are running and you can get cold air at a stop by increasing rpm then the system may be low on refrigerant.

Cold be the fan, the temp sensor, the wires, the relays, or the ECM. Have the code read.

Started cold truck display says engine hot turned off a/c

Hi Glen I'm glad to help!

Glen, I have know way of knowing what type of vehicle or engine you have because there is no information about your vehicle. BUT, the engine controller is seeing something it doesn't like so its turning of everything that will cause the engine to run hotter. My first guess and this is only a guess but, I would say possibly you may have a coolant sensor that's stuck in the hot range telling the computer your engine is hot. The second guess would be, NOTE: only if you have an electric fan. Sometimes the motor will blow a fuse and stop working and the computer see that and stops everything from working that will cause a hotter engine. NOTE: but in the case it would most likely turn on the "Check Engine Light" Hope this helps and have an awesome day Glen.

BLOWER MOTOR QUIT AND FAN SWITCH BURNED OUT ON 98 CHEV SILVERADO

Sounds like you didn't add oil , when freon goes the oil goes also. When you say locked up , you mean the compressor won't turn when the clutch engages? Either too much freon or the oil was gone from the system when you put freon in it.

A/c is cold but the fan is not working to blow it into the car stopped working on high first now will not blow at all

Check your blower motor resistor. It is commonly the part that the blower motor power connector plugs into. It sounds like the high speed element went first and you lost the high fan speed. If the remaining resistor element is broken, the fan will stop working. The resistor only have 2 elements; if they're both broken, it creates an open circuit to the blower.

My A/c is out in my 1997 accord and i think i found the problem..In the mornings when the air outside is cold, my a/c does blow out cool air, and when it's hot out, the a/c blows out hot air. The problem...

no, your condensor fan motor is not working. if its faulty, install a new motor. not the fan leaf, only motor assembly. its cheap too. but first you have to check refrigerant leaks. then check condensor fan. thanks

Make sure the AC FAN & RAD fan is operating properly. It sounds like u may be dealing w 2 problems. Start w the basics, ck the fans. When u put ac on fan should go on, rad fan works w temp of motor (mid range on gauge should activate)
