Tools needed to remove master clutch cylinder on 1999 kia sportage

A 10 or 12 mm wrench to remove cylinder and needle nose plyers to remove clip from end of cylinder that connects to clutch pedal.8mm line wrench to disconnect line fom cylinder. After you install, bleed at the clutch slave cylinder, use 8mm line wrench,it's not a open end wrench,it almost covers the bolt, made so you can't strip the head.

I have changed my clutch on my kia sephia but he didn't have resistence at the pedal. I have bleed the systeme but always nothing and it have no escape.....

is there not a clutch cable on that model the adjustment is not right and if you have a slave cyl chances are the clutch was ok but the slave was no good so check for cable if none make sure that slave was bleed proper then you know slave no good to replace ps if positive and i mean positive the clutch installed was good, properly installed and the release bearning installed as well

1987 Nissan PU, I replaced the master and slave clutch cyls. I bleed the system and there is no air in the lines but peddle does not get hard. Could the new master or slave cyl be bad? I see you can adjust...

The shaft should come all the way back, when the pedal is back, the master shaft should be adjusted so there is very little play in the pedal. But it needs some play. Make sure you can see the slave cylinder move when you depress the clutch pedal, you will need help to operate the pedal, while you look.

Where do you put clutch fluid in - in a 2001 Kia Sportage

Under the hood next to the brake reservoir, is a smaller fluid tank with brake fluid in it. It is the clutch master cyl. Hope this helps.
