Check fuse box under hood. Has a simular problem. The wire harness routed across the valve cover on the right side. The wire insulation has rubbed against the valve cover and caused a short.

My coil is firing but not getting spark out of cap, cap is good, rotor is good, ign module tested good.

Recheck the cap. I am sure you dropped the carbon conductor that conects the HT from coil to rotor. I need feedback on this one.

2000 chevy 3/4 ton 2 wd 5.7L 42,ooo miles have no spark from ign. coil have replaced coil ,ign module and crank sensor please help

Better pull the dist. cap make sure the rotor turns when cranked, and if it does put a rotor on it.They will "fire" a hole thru the rotor to the shaft and kill the spark.

Changed coil in 1997 c1500. New coil wouldn't fire and now old coil won't fire. What could be the problem?

Check for 12v at red wire, if ok then replace ign pick up module ( usually green and yellow wires under rotor). or pick up coil. hope this helps !!

I have a 97 plymouth voyager van that dies out while going down the road we have replaced that converter, plugs wires cap rotar and it is now saying multi mis fires is it a bad o2 sensor

well you might have"bad ign wires" or bad ign coil!!!!O2 sensor wouldn't do that usually miss fires is wire ,coil, broken or crack porcelain on spark plug usually done on installing them!!!!!! I know the three spark plugs closest to fire wall are not easy to get at and some time spark plugs get cracked and over looked good luck
