The flasher relay is the actual switch.

Where is the emergency flasher relay located on 2013 Rogue?

Here is what the service manual says. Looks like it is not a flasher relay but a function of the body control module.

TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING LAMP SYSTEMSystem Description OUTLINE Turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp is controlled by combination switch reading function and the flasher control function of BCM.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION - BCM detects the combination switch condition by the combination switch reading function. - BCM supplies voltage to the right (left) turn signal lamp circuit when the ignition switch is turned ON and the turn signal switch is in the right (left) position. BCM blinks the turn signal lamp.
HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION BCM supplies voltage to both turn signal lamp circuit when the hazard switch is turned ON. BCM blinks the hazard warning lamp.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL SOUND OPERATION - BCM transmits the turn indicator signal to the combination meter with CAN communication while the turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp are operating. - Combination meter outputs the turn signal sound with the integrated buzzer while blinking the turn signal indicator lamp according to the turn indicator signal.
HIGH FLASHER OPERATION (FAIL-SAFE) - BCM detects the turn signal lamp circuit status by the terminal current value. - BCM increases the turn signal lamp blinking speed if the bulb or harness open is detected with the turn signal lamp operating. NOTE: The blinking speed is normal while operating the hazard warning lamp.

The hazards and turn signals wont work. I have checked, the fuse, hazard switch, turn signal relay, turn signal switch and bulbs, all has power and ground. Still the lights do not work. What else can it...

Must agree with the others most likely thing is the flasher unit. If the seat belt reminder light isn't working its a good sign the units failed. They both use the same flasher which is why the seat belt light changes speed when you turn the indicators on. Hope you find the problem soon.

I have an 02 kia sportage. my signal lights come on but dont blink outside. no lights for the signal lights come on on the dash at all. also, no hazard lights.

If the 15A HAZARD fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box is OK, power is getting to the hazard function of the flasher unit. Pressing the hzard switch should cause the hazard lights to flash. HOWEVER, there is an electronic time and warning indication system module connected to to the hazard switch lead and that may be affecting things. If the 10A TURN fuse is OK, power is applied to the turn switch (with the engine in START or RUN) and you state you can select a right or left turn. HOWEVER, the RED/WHT and RED/BLU outputs from the flasher unit connect directly to the front and rear turn lamps and the instrument cluster turn indicators so you are not getting any flasher output. Again, that electronic time & warning indication system module could be affecting things

hi, it may not be the switch. there are 2 systems a battery for hazards and ignition for indicators both relies on each other. i do'nt know if you have seperated units for both. but this could be an EARTH problem too. gerry

Where do i find the flasher for the indicator? the left light wont come on even thogh we bought a new bulb

Flashers and Relays REPLACEMENT Pickups The hazard warning flasher, on the pickup, is located to the left of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured by a clamp and one screw. To remove it, simply unplug the electrical connector, loosen the screw, and slide the flasher out of the clamp. The turn signal flasher is located to the right of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured in the same way as the hazard flasher. The turn the signal relay is located to the immediate right of the hazard flasher, and is secured by two screws. To remove it, unplug the electrical connector and remove the screws. MPV The relays and flashers are located under the dash, near the fusebox. Navajo Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are mounted on the fuse panel on the truck. To gain access to the fuse panel, remove the cover from the lower edge of the instrument panel below the steering column. First remove the two fasteners from the lower edge of the cover. Then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel. The turn signal flasher unit is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, and the hazard warning flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. prev.gif next.gif

How to locate and change a flasher relay on an audi A2 . The hazard warning side is working fine. When the indicators are turned on you can hear an audible click but nothing after that

The relay is built into the hazard switch. If the turn signals already failed it's only a matter of time until the hazards fail as well. Replace the hazard switch and you'll be good to go.
