Question about 1988 Honda Prelude
I HAVE A1998 HONDA PRELUDE IT IS FUEL INJECTED AND WHEN I AM DRIVING AND LET OFF OF THE THROTTLE IT WILL DIE. IT WILL USUALLY START RIGHT BACK UP AND DRIVE ON UNTILL I LET OFF AGIAN. ANY IDEAS. THE FUEL PUMP AND FILTER HAVE BEEN REPLACED.
I recently worked on a 90 civic and i was able to adjust the idle by loosening the throttle cable near the throttlebody (there are a couple of nuts) and adjust it by moving the nuts along the cable adjuster by spinning them until the car idled well again and the owner has had no problems since
(it was not stalling but was very close to it especially at stop lights)
hope this works for you!
