How do you get a 2004 hyundai sonata to start after new battery was installed causing the alarm to keep going off.

have you tried locking and unlocking the car with the remote. How about locking and unlocking the drivers front door with the key?

Hazard lights come on while car not running and unattended

First thing I'd look for is aftermarket wiring installed under the instrument panel. I'm referring to stuff like aftermarket alarm system, aftermarket power door locks or aftermarket remote start system. I've seen numerous cases of incompetent installations of these items. These items are also known for high failure rates, which can cause weird problems. Second, try unplugging the harness for the multifunction [aka turn signal] switch. Does the problem stop when this is done? If so, you may have an intermittent short in this switch or the wiring going to it.

2006 Hyundai Sonata, Doors do not turn on interior light

Hi

Make sure all door switches are functioning properly. See that each switch pushes in and out, without sticking.

My 2005 Sonata starts fine 90% of the time. But if you unlock the door (either with key or remote) and the interior lights start flashing, the car will no start. I have it towed to the dealer and all...

Interior lights don't 'FLASH'... just the PARKING lights.... that means the burglar alarm is active - NATURAL and NORMAL that the engine doesn't start. Find a 'COMPENTENT' Hyundai Technician - have it properly diagnosed!... then you'll know what the problem is.

I need help with a wiring layout for a stereo.

Forget it...go to a car stereo installation shop and buy a wiring harness for your car ($20-40) and you're done!
Good Luck
P.S. might as well buy a dash kit ($30) to make installing the radio simpler as well...if you DON'T have a car stereo shop nearby, order parts from crutchfield.com

Alarm Issues

I have been having this same issue for the past 6 months. So far no one can give me an answer that solves the problem. I have done several things unsuccessfully 1) changed the battery (still happens) 2) flipped the valet toggle switch under the steering column (still happens) 3) I lock the doors using the automatic lock button on the driver and/or passenger door (the alarm will not self-activate and go off, but this still doesn't solve the root problem with the alarm)

welcome to the modern world. If you forget to arm it, it does it by itself.
