Question about 1981 Ford F 100
Howdy, this question is similar to one posted previously, although my problem seems related to the break booster. I have 3 break boosters, 2 of which when installed work excellently until the front breaks gradually lock after a 3-5 k distance. The 3rd booster does not cause the breaks to lock, although the pedal is extremely light, and 100% breaking power is not available for emergency breaking etc (somewhere in the range of about 85%). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
It is possible that the calipers are binding when hot. It could also be the brake hoses. If the hoses are collapsing internally it will cause the brakes to drag
