The tire reset button is for your tire pressure monitoring system. If you have the tires replaced or if you have a low tire the T.P.M.S. light may come on and the button resets the light after repairs are made.

Check the air in the tire. There is a reset button on the fuse pannel. Turn car to run position, hold reset (red button). Low tire light will flash 3 times & then go off. This should solve the problem.

Low tire pressure light how to reset

First thing is to check the air pressure in all tires and make sure they are correct. When that is done you can reset the light. Open the passenger door and look on the side of the dash and you will see the fuse panel. Remove the cover and look for a button labeled RESET. Once you find it turn the ignition to the on position but do not start the engine. Press and hold the reset button until you see the light on the dash flash 3 times. Release the button and your light will be reset.

AC does not engage when turned on

Take the glove box out. Behind the fuse box you will find a big gob of black tape, (it looks like a box shape all taped up. Take the tape off and you will find three inline fuse holders taped together. The AC fuse is the 10 amp one.

1999 buick centry low tire light on. how do you reset?

1. Remove the fuse panel cover, located on the right hand side of the dash (you have to open the front right hand passenger door). It comes off easily, it is held in place by three spring clips. Be careful when pulling this off, that you don't disengage the spring clips from the panel door, because they will fly off into the dash, and you won't be able to get them out. Replacement clips are about 70 cents each at the Buick dealer, but they will only sell them in a bag of 20, so do the math. Lose the clips, it will cost you about $16 with tax to replace them. I know because I did this :( 2. Start your car, and with the engine idling, locate the RESET button on the fuse panel where you've removed the fuse panel cover. It's a red button, the first one on the top row of the fuse block. Press and hold the RESET button for five seconds. The "low tire" light should come on and flash three times, then go out. If it doesn't, you'll have to take your car to the dealer or other repair shop for service. 3. Replace the fuse panel cover, and you're good to go! BTW, this information is on pages 6-42 and 6-43 of your Owner's Manual. :)

Hope this helps and good luck!

My gear indicator/odometer DOES NOT light up

The owners manual says the following:

Turn the ignition key on just to the point before you crank the engine.......(you'll here the normal "ding-ding" sound when you do this)......then, press AND hold the "reset" button (located on the fuse panel on the passengers side of the car) for about 5-6 seconds. You will see the "Low Tire" indicator blink and few times and then go off! It's important to make sure all your tires are inflated properly BEFORE you do this.

I recently had a flat tire fix but the control panel still shows the low air light indicator on. How do I reset the control panel? thank you

Hmm, if i remember right, it's one of three locations. The fuse box panel, under the steering colum, or in the glove box. It should state in the manual where it is located. Be sure that all your tires are about the same. Cuz if it's not, it will trip the light again right away.
