You need to pull out the # 1 cylinder spark plug and turn over engine until the #1 piston is at top dead center. . Then line up the rotor with the #1 plug wire position on the distrubutor cap.

Intake gaskets repaced. ignition timing offset.would like some illustrations, if possible to fix this problem.

What problem? You replaced the intake gaskets and got the distributor on the wrong cam tooth? Now the check engine light is on for cam/crank correlation? So you need to know how to retime the distributor?

Had to replace upper and lower intake gaskets because of water leak in the crossing water journal. when took apart the 1997 chevy blazer ran fine other then the leak.once i got it put back to gether truck...

You may have had some water migrate into the cylinder through one of the intake runners causing a spark plug to foul. You will need to remove the spark plugs to see which one is fouled.

Describe your 1995 Chevrolet Blazer Probl1994

First thing, check for vacuum leaks. Wiggle all hoses while engine is running and listen for a hiss. Check all intake bolts for tightness. Dump some soapy water along the edge of the intake where it joins to the head. If it bubbles a lot, your intake gaskets need replacing. Change plugs, wires. Change cap and rotor. Change fuel filter. Do that much and get back to me if no change.

2000 chevy blazer won't start after changing fuel filter

if it does not start after you check your distributor cap that means you took the car out of timing, when you put the distributor cap back on you did not put it is the correct position, now you need a mechanic to get the timing of the engine

Coolant issue with 1997 blazer

check to see if you have a leak in your heater core, and if the heater core is not leaking you might have a leak on the intake gasket or the head gasket

Coolent in oil

If you have coolant in your oil there is 99% chance it is your intake gaskets. It is about a 6 hour job. You will need mechanical ability. This job involves removing every thing on top of the motor, including the distributor and AC pump. You will also need to remove the whole bracket assembly off the drivers side of the motor that the AC pump bolts to in order to remove the intake. Do not out off getting it fixed because the coolant will destroy the bearings in the motor. Also use the new felpro metal gaskets.
