Radio, power windows, windshield wipers and turn signals are not working in my 1996 Mercedes S320
The Power Windows, Turn Signals, Radio, Windshield Wipers, Power Seats do not work. Occassionally, they will go on, but very rarely. They remain off 90% of the time. Whatever is messing with them, they seem to all be connected to it. The battery has been replaced, the alternator has been tested as good, and all of the fuses, and connections to the fuse boxes have been checked and appear to be good.
Re: radio, power windows, windshield wipers and turn...
The wipers and turn signals are probably a faulty switch (a common problem 0 I have a 1994 c180 and have had 2 switches on they vary from the flashers not working or wipers coming on by them selves or not working at all indicators not working can but from ebay for about 30 pounds hope this helps ivan
I had a similar problem with my 2000 Jeep TJ and I found the problem in the wiring harness under the hood.several wires were corroded and almost burnt off.If you remove the black tape which keeps the harness bundled together and if you see evidence of "green" type powder or "gook" it's most likely where the wires have faulted.
hello, check your fuse number 4 ,15 for signal light ,check also the rear fuse box for power window, central lock, power seat ,located at rear seat in front of battery,ty
May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board. It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.

Perhaps a screw fell out inside the steering column, and causes power from the turn signal to short to the wiper circuit. I saw this happen in a 1972 GMC pickup truck, where a screw fell out and caused the horn to sound when the turn signal was activated. The screw was laying across the two circuits, and when the signal was powered up, the horn was also , on an intermittent basis. Had torent a steering wheel puller from the auto parts store.

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
