Merc 308 sprinter non starter

Stoped on the road started back up after long time cranking went about one mile stoped again would not start this time now have no starter and glow plug lights black box on inner wing just cliks

Which sprinter 308 you have, 308 cdi or 308 D ? but sounds like sucking air, might be air lock

Its probably your computer. Had the same thing happen to me about ten years back. About 500 dollars. better off finding one on ebay or at a junk yard.

2004 Chevy Aveo sounds like turning over but not starting


could be damaged flywheel or bad starter remove starter and have it tested while starter is removed check flywheel

starter isnt engaging, if you know where the starter is, tap on it with a hammer

Starter kick back


If this is a gas engine, check the ignition coil or plug wires. A simple test...

Start the truck at night, then look under the hood while it's running. Don't use a flashlight or your headlights; it should be dark !

If you see sparks anywhere around the engine, you've found the problem. Now you can turn on a light to see where they're coming from - probably from a cracked ignition coil.
