Question about 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis
WHen selecting Drive on the steering column, should we slect the basic largeD or the small D within the shaded circle???
The d with the circle is overdrive. This is the selection you should use unless you are in a situation where it is shifting in and out of overdrive to much for example you are riding in traffic in hilly terrain at speeds around 35-45 mph and it is constantly shifting in and out of overdrive, then you would use the big D.Or if you are coming down the mountains and you want more engine braking so you don't have to use your brakes to much.
