Question about 2003 Lincoln Aviator
Hello, I have an 2003 Aviator, 75,000 miles. Six months ago I had to replace the battery because mine went completely dead. Bought a new battery, installed it and now the climate controlled seats dont work. The lights on the door switch wont even light up. Took it to 2 different dealers and called 5 srvice stations and they all said they never heard of this problem. One ford dealer told me they THINK I need the 3 modules replaced, and for $500 not including labor, they MAY be able to fix it. On a forum I belong to, It seems like a common problem, but noone seems to know how to fix it. Please Help!!
Check out aboutautomobile.com site and enter your vehicle data and see if there is a recall or TSB.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

have had my drive seat fixed 3 times and is being repair as we speak for the fourth. Passenger side I had repaired once and it is out now also. I love my Navie, but the seat accessories are junk. I too, have a 2000. If you can bear with me for about a week, I will know why these are not working and will be able to follow up with you about yours first hand instead of guessing. Fair enough?

No recalls on it. Anyone who has owed a LS will have/will experience this problem. It's gotta be cleared. It should cost you around 70-100.00 dollars. For the gas smell, I would say it's the start of you're coils failing on you. Good luck.

There is no way to know why that light is on without a Scan. There are hundreds of codes in the cars today especially with the luxury cars that have body control computers.
Try taking it to an Advance auto or Autozone. They will usually scan if for free and that will give you a place to begin to answer your question. The radio problem I believe is unrelated. In my years of experience I have not seen the radio make the CE light come on. The CE light relates only to safety or emissions.
Hope this helps. Get the code and post it and someone will help you figure it out.

Sounds like a dealer only part. Sorry. There are other routes you can take with these vehicles. you can change out the air bag suspension with regular shocks and struts.
