Location of ac low pressure switch 2003 gmc 1500 and how to change it. thanks mike

What makes you think it needs replacement? It lives in a very clean environment and rarely fails. Low refrigerant, on the other hand, would be picked up by the low pressure switch, and it would shut down the system to prevent EXPENSIVE damage... Great design, I think.

Replacement of the low pressure switch would require recovery of refrigerant, evacualtion of the system, and recharge, at minimum.

this job is best left to a qualified shop, as you risk serious personal injury.

Ignition switch does not shut off motor

The connection between the Lock cylinder and the Ignition switch has come apart. There is pin that holds it together where the column tilts to allow for the tilt. The bad thing is the column needs to be completely disassembled to fix it, or replace the column with one from a salvage yard. The pin that falls out is usually still inside the column if you take it apart.
