Question on 1996 intrepid fog lights

I recently picked up a 1996 intrepid, and noticed fog lights in the lower air dam. Inside, though, I see no switch to activate them. Was this an option, and those lamps out there aren't real lights?

How do i turn on the fog lights on 2007 srx?

good afternoon Anonymous.

The manual for this model can be found here: on the Cadillac website. There is mention on manual page 181 of turning the fog lamps on and off with the Fog Lamp Band. If you look on page 167, it ties an illustration to Fog Lamps, showing you where the band is on the Turn Signal Lever.

Hoping this answers your question!

How to replace front chrome bumper on 2008 Chev Crew Cab.

first you'll have to take off the lower air dam and fog lights if you have them. Then remove the 18mm bolts that secure the bumper. And it should come off, then put the new one on.

Why my window is fogging whe i turn the heater ?? i recently bought my toyota carina 3 model 1994 but the window is fogging , what should i do?

Make sure the vent system is set to draw air from outside. If it is set to recirculate the same air that's inside the vehicle without drawing fresh air from outside, the resulting humidity that builds up inside the vehicle can fog the windows even when you run the defrost. You can also try opening the windows a bit to get some more air moving inside.
If it still fogs when the vents are set properly, you may have a leaky heater core. The heater core is a small radiator that is located under the dash that the heater system blows air through to heat the inside of your car and provide heat to defrost the windshield. The fog may be coming from the heater core leaking hot coolant steam that's being circulated through the defrost system. If this is so, you will need to replace the heater core.

First you have to turn the headlight switch all the way to the right. This will turn on your headlights. Then pull the switch outward towards you. Your driving lights should be on now. They only work with the headlights on.

How to change 2005 Corvette fog light bulb

Fog lights are simple, but tight as you would expect.

You will need to jack up the front.

Remove the front fascia closeout panel and right and left lower cowl/spoiler.

Un plug the electrical to the back of the foglight, reach up in and unscrew the bulb. A bit tight. It is about a half or three quarter turn. Pull the old bulbs out.

Install in reverse.

You may need to adjust the beam if you tug to much.

Once you remove the access panel and then pull the brake cooling duct out of the way (just snaps in place...).

It was not necessary to remove the small air-dam corners on my car (nor is it specified in the service manual), but it it make the job easier, it is only two or three screws per side.

Thank you for suing fixya and be safe

Jaguar xj6 fog lamp

It's an awkward little job, but you might need to lift the car up to get accsess to the back of the air dam and the light units, then its just a case of a quarter turn on the back of the bulb holder, its the one with the wireing conecion on it!
The reverse for re fitting.

chances are the heater core is clogged and wont allow proper circulation for the heater.i would suggest getting a new one put in and see if that dosent fix it for you.

When i run the heat or air cond. i smell water and windshield fogs up in the middle.

Sounds like your heater core is bad. Have someone check out the heating system and possibly replace heater core.. that should take care of the fog problem also by enabling you to use the defrost... Good Luck!
