The On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) computer on the 2003 Camry is a second generation (or OBD-2) and is far more advanced that its predecessor. You could purchase an OBD-2 code reader for anywhere between $69 and $159, but considering that you may never have need for it again, I would sugggest just going to Advance Auto, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, O'Reily or other store, and have them run a free diagnostic (they want to sell you the replacement parts). The printout will tell you exactly what is wrong.

I was just wondering what the diagnostic read at the parts store. From the other persons comment, it sounds like the sensor that they were talking about was the oxygen sensor which is located on the exhaust. When the exhaust is cold, spray the sensor threads with WD-40 and let sit for a while, then go to loosen the old sensor, have the wrench slip, bust your knuckles, cuss loudly, go wash off the cut, apply a bandage and drive to the muffler shop to let them do it, then stop by your Doctor's office for a tetanus shot before you get lockjaw.

What do you do if thier is a problem with anti lock device I was told this could be the problem that my 2004 kia sedona will not keep running keeps stalling

Engine light is normally emisions related. I would check intake tube for splits & clamp tightness, check for vacume leaks, check oxygen sensors & airflow or map sensor. these all change the air / fuel ratio possibly to the point of stalling

Code P0431, code P0421

I experienced the same. Rather than replace costly cats I tried to change gas to highest octane - and voila! - all lamps get off.

I have a 19999 Mazda B2500. The idle is very rough and when you step on the gas pedal the engine surges between idle and about 1500 RPM. It can best be described as acting much the same as the governo

it sounds like a lambda sensor issue, the lambda sensor is located on the exhaust manifold, it controls the emisions, it also controls the air/fuel mixture to control the emisions, if it is faulty it could cause the engine to surge like you describe

Check engine light was on...replaced O2 sensor, light is now off. drove about 500 miles and car failed inspection even though check engine is not on.....WHY?

You should have asked it could be lights brakes front end parts or depends if they checked the emisions and they failed they should have told you.

I have a 2002 kia that the engine light came on. I

All I could find on the net as to why it may still come on is 1.It needs a slight adjustment 2.The electrical connector needs to be put on.Since you most likely put on the connector,it may just need slight adjustment.Isn't technology wonderful these days? What would Henry Ford think?lol. Here is what I found but no help really.
Well I googled adjust tps sensor on 2002 Kia and got nowhere. If you call a dealer, they would probably tell you how to adjust for free.If they don't,call other shops.SOMEONE is always willing to give you free advice because they want you to come back.Good luck!

My 2003 pilot the emision light keeps coming on.

first and formost you absolutely must have a Honda o.e.m gas cap installed!!!!! second when installing cap make sure you tighten three full turns past snug(3 ratchet sounds)third depending on milage this car should still be under 8yr80kmile emmisions warranty so double check, repairs will be under hondas wing if it is.
