I have a squeeking from the rear of the car when I accelerate

Yea I have a great looking 91 LTD crown victoria and when I drive over 40 mph I have a squeeking noise coming from the rear of the car as I accelerate, also Im leaking oil from somewhere other than the valve covers which I just replaced about two in a half weeks ago. The reason I think its a leak cause its dripping on to my exhast and and I just got flow master pipes put on about the same time I did the valve cover gaskets and it is smoking a little when I get on the interstate or driving long distances.

My 91 crown victoria wont go over 40 mph

Could be several things. Fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, collapsed exhaust pipe, plugged catalytic converter. Take it to an autoparts store and have the scan and retrieve the computer codes. This may help determine the problem.

Engine does not start immediately when cranking

The problem could be many things. Is the engine light on? Check for proper fuel pressure. Remove one spark plug and inspect. Your vehicle may just need a simple tune up. Spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter.
