Question about 1998 Eagle Talon
I just recently bought this car.She has less then 95,000 miles on her 2.0 non turbo.She ran absolutely perfect till the idler/tensioner pulley froze up or "walled out". Had her towed to place i bought her from they replaced "both" pulleys and she's been rough idling ever since. Scan tools showed misfire on cylinder 1 bank 1. Took her to shop to have a compression test done on her to make sure i hadn't bent a valve. Nope she has good compression. We decided to replace all 4 fuel injectors AFTER we replaced the coil pack, all 4 plugs, and wires. She ran fine just like she used to till engine light came back on an she was right back at it. We don't know if it's a camshaft/crankshaft sensor those both deal w/ pcm an cylinder 1 or if its tha pcm just needing re-set or sumthin' electrical.

Search for a way to reset the alarm. Also take the fuel lines off the engine and test the fuel pressure. You want to eliminate the fuel pump not working. If it has a reset button for the fuel pump try that. I would start at the fuel pump and worlk my way up.

Before you up your boost at all. Get youself an SAFC, do all the free mods to open your air and fuel circulation.
you can find the free mods on dsmtuners.com
safc is going to be your tuning tool for time being.
once you turn your boost up to lets say 14psi, thats adding alot more air to your engine, and nothing to add more gas.
get the safc to richen your system up to compensate for the extra air.
