ok sounds like maybe a little searching is on my list to do then. If i remember right there are a lot vacuum hoses on that motor..also that could be causing what feels like a leak with my brakes they will sometimes feel like they dont have power til i pump once or twice. ok thanks i will try that

I'm not too familiar with an 86 302. Does it have essentially the throttle body unit to meter the gas? (looks like a computer controlled 2 bbl carb) or does it have some some funky intake system?

At any rate, check the tightness of the bolts where the throttle body unit attaches to the intake manifold. You may have to replace the gasket (if any) that resides betwixt these two pieces as well. Sound like a vacuum leak, so check the boss on the "back" of the motor where many vacuum lines are connected and make sure they are all firmly on their nipple and check the condition of the vacuum lines themselves to make sure they are not cracked or split.

good luck.

Where can i find a fuse diagram fo a 02 ford e150

First, check ebay for a service manual for your vehicle. If you find one that some ebay store is selling for 99 cents, buy it. That's if you find one specifically for your vehicle on cd for 99 cents. It's may actually be a copy of the cd they offer at the dealership for $150-$200. So if you run into it on ebay, buy it. The other option would be to buy a service manual at your local auto parts store for $25(Haynes, Chilton). But those manuals cover various other manufacturers and models. I hope you find one on ebay.

Once started, the engine stalls on my 99 Ford E150 Econoline V8. If I hold down the accelerator, the engine runs fine. By the way, it is cold outside too.

check the air bypass valve on the throttlebody at the air inlet try tapping on it and see if it will idle ok
