What could be causing the starters to go bad on my 2001 nissan sentra 2.0. this is my third on that i put on/

Depending on why you're replacing so many - if it's a grinding issue, bad flywheel. If it's just drawing power - a bad or undersized battery or bad cables will cause starters to go bad. Too small a battery or bad cables create resistance and starter has to work twice as hard.

Battery is charged. Went to start car at the end of the day, and there is a mechanical clicking sound (all dash indicators light) but the starter motor won't engage, and car won't turnover. Bad...

Do this to check if it's a bad battery, turn head light's on and try to start it, if head light go to dim or off, bad battery not holding a charge, if light stay on ok, then this will take two people tap on the starter kinda hard with a hammer or something you can reach it with while some one hold's to key to start, if it start's bad starter or trys to turn engine replace it.

Vehicle has a bad starter. There is a cover over the starter that must be removed. How complicated is it to remove and replace starter?

It's not too hard to replace. Disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery. Remove the 3 10mm bolts holding on the cover. There should be 2 14 or 15mm bolts going up thru the starter, into the block. Disconnect the wiring going to the starter. Some starters had a bracket on the front of it, holding it to the block. It'll take a little maneuvering of the starter to get it out.

Have you had the battery checked ?
12 volts is good but you need craking amps..

Does not start, god battery, and starter, no power going starter

Most likely bad cell on battery with not enough amerage or the solenoid on the starter is going bad. Turn car to on and Jumper the solenoid if it starts replace starter as that part is hard to get on its own.
