I was getting P0404 code from my van. Its a 05 Dodge Caravan SXT 3.3 ltr. V6. I changed the EGR Valve and still when I get up around 40 mph I am getting a little kick back. It feels like somethings clogged...

More information would be needed if the check engine light displayed more codes after the EGR was replaced . Just because the code shows up does not always mean that is the part that failed. Looks like there is more to the issue here . you might even have a fuel filter or pump problem if your losing power at speed. . I would take it to your local auto parts store and have them read what codes are stored in the van.

Check engine light stays on How do you reset 1994 Dodge Caravan

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes to reset the light on a 1994 vehicle. Resetting the light will do no good unless you repair the problem causing it to come on. It will just come back on again.

How to reset, plug or unplug my engine light on my 2000 dodge caravan?

you may disconnect the battery for a few minutes, but the correct way is to clear it with a scanner. Of course, resetting the light without the proper repairs, its just going to come back on, after the computer runs the tests and it fails.

Auto Zone test said I have to buy another computer. I found one at the junk yard for $100.00, but we don't know where is the computer chip in the 1998 Dodge Sport Caravan. Please let me know before I pull...

the pcm (computer)is beside the battery under the hood.
1 remove the battery (disconnect cables and undo the battery tie down)
2 remove and set aside the pdc (Power distribution center)(don't unhook the wires) its beside battery (2 screws)
3 unplug and remove the pcm (2 electrical plugs and 3 bolts)
Hope this helps!

when you changed the battery you loosened or broke the body ground wire just follow the ground cable from the battery to the engine and try to find a smaller wire that is disconnected or broken
