1996 Jeep Cherokee Turn Signals Not Working

My flashers work but my turn signals are not. I have fixed one electrical problem after another, but this has me confused. I had trouble with the ignition harness after installing a remote starter because of the extra wires in the steering column. After rearranging the wires, I no longer had problems with the ignition switch, but my turn signals stopped working. Could it be the switch or the turn signal flasher? Can anyone help?

could be either one or a fuse...you need to check electrically and see what's going on. Maybe unplugged something while working?

Replace you turn signal flasher relay, it should be right by your fuse box or near the brake pedal.(it looks like a solenoid, a cylindrical shape, with 3 prongs on the end) it is attached to a wiring harness that you just have to unplug it from. i couldnt find mine at any auto parts store, had to go to jeep, costs 44 bucks. that should do it

My 99 jeep cherokee turn signals and hazards ARE NOT WORKING.everything else works fine.it dnt even make the clicking noise like it should.the fuses are fine.wut else could it be?

You'll need to locate your "turn signal flasher" and replace it. You'll find it in either of the 2 fuse boxes, the owner's manual will have it listed. They are usually a small square box with 2 or 3 electrical prongs that just unplug and plug back into the slots. Please rate this answer, thanks.

My signals and flasher quit working 2002, Jeep Grand Cherokee

in your vehicles owner manual, look up fuses, and flasher units or flasher relay. Fuses are normally located under the dash, but when both turn signals quit working it is usually the relay. The relay is located under the hood yours owners manual should show you the location.

Emergency flashers work but turn signals dont

Your signals work on a seperate system then your flashers. Sounds like your multifunction switch is busted.
