Question about 2004 GMC Envoy
I have GMC ENVOY 2004 M got something wrong and burned up by itself while parking and fire was started from the hood then I expunger the fire immediately but unfortunately exposure loses was big amount. Although I as the main agent in our century ( kingdom of Saudi Arabia) to find out the reason but they ask me to repair it and they don’t know why this event was happened meanwhile it is stay with them for 7 days to evaluated the loss and they estimate about 6700 US currency. Also I called our middle east main agent in UAE and I could not get any right solution. However now around one month rounding process to find any way to solve my issue and what was the real reason for my satisfaction. Please your supporting the the subject matter is highly appreciating.

Hey i think i know what the problem that mad it catch on fire me and my dad had the same problem with old car and it was geting way to much gas to the engine and it whent up into flames in my drive way we took the engine apart and we seen it with a lot of gas thare and we started it back up then we trund it off and we took it apart agin and that was it so we sold it to my to my friend

The main cause for the engine to catch fire is leaking hoses but unfortunatley there is little or no hope of the fire not masking the origin. all fuel hoses should have a tree or four layer coating on them but on some rare occasions they perish especially near any other heat source such as top of engine or exhaust. after the fire has happened then you are as i say very unlikely to find first cause. my suggestion is to check all fuel lines for abnormal wear and tear, if vehicle was running fine before the fire then you have to assume it was above.
