Question about Kia Sportage LX
I recently had to replace the battery on my 2001 Kia Sportage and now the radio only plays for about 5 minutes and then the word ''HOLD'' comes on. Before when the battery was replaced it had the word ''CODE'' and the dealership said to put in ''1111 select'' to correct it, but I didn't get that option this time. I have disconnected the battery but it still says ''HOLD'' I do not want to have to take it to the dealership to be fixed because of the time and cost involved.
How long did you leave the battery on hooked. Radio codes are usually written in the owners manual by the dealership. Look in your owners manual in the radio section to see if it tells you anything about (HOLD).
