Very good, except on my Honda Pilot 06' it is asking for the mileage and I have tried the reset knob. The knob moves me to the next didget space, but I have no didgets to put in. I have tried to push the knob, but it takes me back to another screen. The wrench light is still light and the "oil life" is not stating -10%.
I have searched my owners manuel, it tells me to go to the dealership.

Actually this is the only way I could get it to work for me with my 2007 Pilot:

    1. Turn the ignition ON.
    2. Press the Select/Reset knob until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.
    3. Press the Select/Reset knob for more than 10 seconds. The engine oil life and maintenance item code(s) will blink.
    4. Once blinking, RELEASE the button, then...
    5. Press the Select/Reset knob for about 5 seconds. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to "100".

2007 Honda Pilot VSA light came on at a low RPM & vehicle started bucking. Turn on and off to reset. Honda technician recommended Motor Honey to increase viscosity and oil pressure. Is this safe?

Down side is this is a band aid approach and doesn't fix the problem. Sounds like you need to find a new service technician. I would drop the oil pan and replace the oil pump and clean the screen if not replace the screen.

  1. Edit Step 15 ¶ When it's time to change the oilin your Civic, the maintenance light (orange wrench) will appear on your dash, as well as a B1 message, showing an oil life of 15% or less. To reset the Oil Life % gauge, press and hold the SEL/RESET button for about 10 seconds until the Oil Life message begins to flash.

The tool check oil ligth on my 2007 honda pilot won't go out after on oil change?

You have to reset it. The procedure for this should be in the owner's manual, but if you don't have it, I *believe* you just need to hold the odometer reset button for a couple of seconds. One of the dash buttons does this, if it is not that one.

Hope this helps.
