They stand for SPORT and WINTER.

They change the shift points for the transmission. SPORT holds the shifts a little longer for a sportier feel. WINTER starts out in second gear to reduce wheel slippage on ice and snow.

I recently moved the middle passenger seat over as far as it could go to eliminate the space in between the middle seats. Both of the middle seats are literally touching now. I basically wanted to put that...

Try tilting the seat forward then pushing the release button. If the release button feels normal / easier then you must hold the release until the seat is in place. The weight of the seat can cause the latch to not open. Also make sure there is no trash in the lugs on the van floor.

Don't know where fuel filter is -95 ram 3500

Mine was located on the driver side rail, on the drivers side of the transmission near the middle of the drivers seat. It was BOLTED to the rail and was very rusted. I think it took two hours for penetrating oil to loosen it up

hope this helps

How are the middle row safety belts supposed to function properly? my used van is showing signs of character.

It depends on your seating. My Windstar has bucket seats, and the very back is a bench type 3 seater. The middle row normally has 2 shoulder/lap belts. It really depends on the perks that the original owner opted for upon purchase. For instance my driver seat has a button on the right side to adjust the lumbar area of the seat.
Checking CarFAX will let you know if the vehicle has ever been in a major accident. Most people do not realize that after an accident, seat belts and their anchors should be replaced.

I have a 2003 2 door sunfire. I am installing a infant car seat base using the latch system instead of the seat belt. Can I do this in the middle of the back seat or does it have to go at one of the...

Ideally if there is a middle set of latches in the seat, you can install an infant car seat base there. If the seat has any kind of hump or other irregularity then it should not be installed there. Although the middle of the back seat is safest for a child, most vehicle do not have a latch system there. However most cars do have a lap belt for the center seat and that should be used if you decide to place your car seat.

Do not use the latches from either side of the right back and left seat. The latch system is designed to be a specific distance apart to work correctly. If you don' want to use the lap belt then you should put the child seat on either the left or right back seat using the latch system.

Rear seat down and wont go back up; locked middle belt

middle seat belt shouldn't have anything to do with it. The seat locks down for stowage in the rear cargo area. you can pull the release handle on the back of the seat to release it back into the up position.

Now hit 1 it will now go to that exact setting when you press 1 do the same exact thing for button 2.

Don;t know how to flip the back seat down

Open the trunk, there should be a black button on the driver's sid; pull it out. Don't close the trunk lid as this will push in the button. On the rear sea, drivers side, there should be a leather loop, it might be hidde between the seat and the inside moulding, puul on it and the seat will release.

Middle seats

There is a lever near the floor on the rear of the seat that releases the rear of the seat. You then tip the seat forward and remove it. To slide it over it is easier to remove it and put it back in over where you want it. There is a floor plate where the front of the seat sits that needs to be removed. Not sure if it fits back on the other side of the seat but knowing Honda it does,
