Question about 2001 Ford Focus
I was driving along and suddenly the engine died. The dash stayed lit. The headlights, horn, every thing works, but it won't turn over. It doesn't click, doesn't even try to start. The biggest quandary I have is that, normally, when I turn the key to the "On" position, the digital odometer displays the mileage, but now it just displays dashes on both the odometer and the trip meter. Any ideas would be nice.
The negative battery cable needs replacing, so I am starting with that, but the odometer issue makes me think there is a problem with the computer.
Having the same problem, did you get yours fixed ?
