Question about 2000 Suzuki Esteem
Does anyone know what the crankshaft dia tolerance specs are for the above engine.
Need to determine if standard rod bearings will work or if the crank
will need to be turned

Carbon build up on pistons raises engine compression.This is normal.Go up one grade on gas and/or put some fuel additive.If this doesnt solve it,have timing belt/chain inspected may need replaced

When you hear some tapping, that's why you need -valve adjustments. At 137,000miles you probably need more than that to continue your trouble-free drives.
