Check the wiring harness plug located under the passenger side dash, far right side towards floor. probably burnt up terminals - common problem with this truck, if so, buy a new or used harness

most probably the heater resistor is bad , its just beside the blower motor, with a harness of 4 to 6 wires connected to it , usually blown because the blower motor is drawing too much power

MY heater fan works on 4 & 5 Only on my 2000 Silverado

remove the passenger side lower insulator panel. behind the panel you wil find the blower motor housing. next to the blower motor housing there will be a wiring connector with 6 to 8 wires going in to it. the connector will be held secure with 2 screws. remove the connector and remove the screws -- this is your resistor. reverse the process to re-install.

2005 silverado heater fan not working

unplug the blower motor and test it for power and ground, find out which isnt working, if there is a failier at the socket you may have a bad blower speed control. If that socket passes you testes then it should be your blower motor.
