I have a 1999 delta i replaced the gas pump and its still dont work i also checked the relays and they r not bad i hooked direct power to both pumps and they r good. any ideas?

A lot of older first/second gen fuel injection cars have a pump cutout that shuts off power to the system if the car is hit or jarred. Its also called an inertia switch and usually located inside the trunk.

Locate the fuel pump on a 1998 oldsmobile 88. I need someone to tell me where it's located.

the fuel pump is in the fuel tank
there may be an acess panel through the trunk
i can't remember when they put that in
open the trunk and on the floor by the back seat lift the carpet and see if there is a pannel it will have 6 or so small bolts
if it has this pannel then you can get the fuel pump out that way
if the pannel is not there then you have to remove the fuel tank
hope this helps
