Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Engine runs very rough and has very little power. I bought new plugs and wires. All have good spark. Did compression check 160 on all 6. I pulled the spark plug wires while running. On 4 cylinders the motor bogged down. On two pulling the plug had no effect. I think that these two arn't getting fuel. But i'm not sure why. Maybe bad injectors but why would both go at once. The check engine light is on. When i connected a scan tool it wouldn't recognize the connection. Don't knwo what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciatied.
Sounds like your computer is fried. Check prices at your local recycling yard or EBAY. Ive seen this happen on other makes and models as well, and its always been the computer...
hope this helps!
