check to see if something is binding in the lcoking device. Lube it with WD40, Pry around carefully with a screwdriver.

How to remove 3rd row seats in Ford territory

The 3rd row seats are simply bolted down from inside the vehicle. With the 3rd row seats in the UP position and the 2nd row seats in the DOWN position, (easier access), you can access a set of nuts on threaded pins coming up through the floor. They are positioned down the sides of the seat base between the cushion and the actual side of the vehicle. A really long extension bar helps here. There should be 4 nuts, 2 each side, and another one each side for the seat belt bottom anchor point. Remove these nuts and the seat should lift up and out of the back of the vehicle.
**CAUTION** These seats are ridiculously heavy so get a helper to lift them out.

My power third row seat don't work, I tested the motors and they work fine when power directly. When I measure the voltage at the connectors I get about +/- 10 volts, from any of the 4 switches. I verified...

Your missing something's G-404 has nothing to do with it !
Seats - Third Row
The third row seat:
  • is three-passenger seat.
  • a 60/40 bench seat.
  • folds down for more cargo area.
  • has optional power fold down seats.
Third Row Power-Fold Seat
CAUTION: To prevent possible damage to the third row seat or the safety belts, make sure that the safety belts are not fastened when moving the seat to the load floor position.
CAUTION: Make sure that no objects such as books, purses or briefcases are on the floor in front of the third row seats or on the seat cushion before lowering the backrest(s).
The third row power-fold seat consists of the following electrical components:
  • right third row seat relay.
  • left third row seat relay.
  • right power-fold seat motor.
  • left power-fold seat motor.
  • right front third row seat switch (if equipped).
  • left front third row seat switch (if equipped).
  • right rear third row seat switch.
  • left rear third row seat switch.
For the third row power-fold seat to operate, a shared ground is supplied by the body security module (BSM) to both of the power-fold seat relays, enabling the seats to then be moved by pressing one of the third row power-fold seat switches. The third row power-fold seat operates only when the vehicle is in PARK and the liftgate glass, liftgate door or any entry door must be open.
The third row power-fold seat motors transfer movement to a drive gear assembly to raise and lower the seat backrest. The power-fold seat motors rotate a short drive cable which is connected to the drive gear assembly.
The relay's are located in Aux. relay box #2

Jus t purchased a used 2003 yukon xl and trying to find out how to fold the 2nd row seat down cannot find a lever on the one side

The passenger side 2nd row release lever is at the lower right corner. On the driver side, there is no release lever, just a pull ******** the center of the seat, that sometimes falls between the seat.

How do you remove the rear seat out of a 2001 Ford Excursion

If you are talking about the third row seat, the first step is to fold the seat down. Pull the lever behind the passenger side of the third row seat and fold the seat down. Then, from the cargo area, raise the bar located directly behind the third row seat and lift the seat forward. The seat should now be detached from the car and can be removed. When you reinstall the seat, be sure to secure the seat properly so passengers do not get injured in a sudden vehicle maneuver. This should help you to fix your problem. Does 2003 Ford Explorer have 3rd row seat

The third seat was an option on this model. Your model may or may not have the third seat. You should be able to tell by looking at the floor in the back. Ford may have included the rear cup holders on all models for ease of production.

Handle on back side of passenger seat broken off on 03 Odyssey

The square in the middle of the sides of the handle comes out and you can screw it back in. We have fixed this several times as my kids were always kicking it and putting their feet up on the seat.

2003 chevy tahoe 2nd row seating

lower the bottom portion, there will be two black cables. follow them toward the back of the seat, past a black round plate, where they become top and bottom cables. Push down toward the floor board on the bottom cable (my bottom cable is no longer black coated but rather a bare feeling cable wire). When pushing down on the bottom cable, pull the seat forward. As the seat does come forward the headrest will fold back at the same time. Not an easy find for me either, they should just make a release lever, but oh well..... I Hope this helps. Just keep playing around with those two cables until it finally does release.
