Question about 2002 GMC Envoy
Lots of air in fuel line causing hard start, when she starts very little bubbles flow through and she runs great, once i stop the car will start right up if i let it sit for a while bubbes will accumulate, more bubbles with time causing hard start again. Since the problem i have changed the fuel filter and the 2 o rings on the t fitting first day got better and next day back to air in line this is a 2001 1.9 tdi ALH engine there is also no sign of leak oil/dirty spots on line
Anythought will help Thanks Nick

SOURCE: 2000 GMC Jimmy will not start
Need to check for fuel pressure and volume. If you turn the key on and you have pressure, then you should be able to start and run. If your fuel pressure gauge has a releif hose on it, then while running, dump fuel into a jug and the engine should stay running. If the vehicle will not start but cranks over, then turn the key off and on a few times. the fuel pump will only stay on for a few seconds and cycle off. Sounds like you are losing your fuel prime from the pump to the engine. Only fix is to replace the fuel pump if you are losing your prime.

Check the power to the cold start injector. (it's only going to have fire for a few sec. after the key is turned on). If the fire is good, replace the cold start injector. This injector is activated for a few seconds when the engen temp is low to add a little fuel lower down in the intake and closer to the pistons.
