The O2 sensors should be on the exhaust system below the exhaust manifold. You will need a special socket with a slot in it to replace it. Be sure to spray WD-40 on it (WHEN IT IS COOLED OFF) to help loosen it.
There are two oxygen sensors: one is upstream of the catalytic converter and one downstream of the catalytic converter. The oxygen sensor, or O2 sensor is usually located near the catalytic converter.Oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter in the exhaust system on the back of the engine.-------Thanks.Helpmech
There are 2 o2 sensors on the caravan upstream+downstream
The downstream sensor is located on the exaust pipe at the
converter. As I don't know what engine you have, the upstream
sensors are located as follows
2.4 on exaust manifold firewall side of engine
3.0 on manifold near alternator
3.3+3.8 center of manifold firewall side
means HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1).
It means high impedance from O2 sensor, check wiring to sensor and replace the sensor. Check O2 sensor located in bank 1 (cylinder 1 side- see here), and after the catalitic converter (there is also an O2 sensor before cat converter).
It's located in the exhaust pipe behind the motor. It has wires that connect to the electrical system. It is removed much like you would remove a spark plug. Unless you have the tools and experience to do it yourself, you may want to find a mechanic to help you.
