Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.. 4.7L w/ 545RFE Auto transmission. When i put it in reverse i get no back-up lights. From what i get these transmissions use a Trans. Range sensor that mounts above the valve body. It will only start in Park and Neutral . Could that be the problem. No trouble code is showing up on a OBD II scanner. also below the odometer is the is the following A / S 1 2 3 4 5 ... These look like the should light up but they dont ? anything i should be worried about ?
The nuetral safety and backup are one switch, it screws into the trans case, has three pins on it, replace it, real cheap about $12 from rockauto.com
