Could be your water pump or your low on power stiring fluid... but if it was your power steering fluid low then it would be come harder for you to steer your car... check both

When I go over any type of bump(big or small) my car makes a kind of squeaking sound, what is this sound??

It is very hard to diagnose a problem sound without hearing it for myself. That being said my best guess based on the fact that it is a squeek it is probably a bushing.

Squeeking sound at steering wheel when making a turn on 2003 Toyota Camry LX 4 cyl. w/ power steering. The sound is not under the hood. Does not affect steering but the sound is annoying. Tried by...

Make sure the tie rod ends are greased up, if that is possible.

Had this same problem, a squeaking or creaking sound on a Ford Taurus that when we replaced the tie rod ends the sound went away.

Recently bought a 2003 Chevy Malibu. Great car. A couple of days ago it started making a "chirping" sound when in the car and more of a light click when you're outside. It's under the hood but couldn't...

well the chirp sounds like a belt problem but the light click is usualy the lifters try using a higher grade of gas,and hope its not a berring going in the water pump.

Car ran hot twice and is making a squeaking sound

Not much info to go on, but: Most squeaking is from 3 sources. 1.) Water Pump Bearing. Get some water pump lubricant in there quick to avoid ruining that bearing. (about $3.00) 2.) Idler Belt Tensioner You may be able to lube the back side of this with WD-40, but too much is bad for the serpentine belt. 3.) Power Steering Pump, does not sound like you problem.

Squeaking... pully maybe?

the ac belt is sperate from the power steering belt.. sounds to me you need to replace the belts (both of them) but theres a idler pully in the middle of them all witch may have a bearing going out on it..i had to change mine at about 85,000.. when i had the belts off i spun the pully and it was excessivly stiff cause'n slipage and also a squel.. hope its not the alt, or water pump making the noise..they can run ya into some $$
