SOURCE: Oil Change

The oil drain plug is located at the bottom of the engine under the car It should be a bolt directly in the oil pan that would be your oil drain plug.

SOURCE: were is the oil filter adapter located on a 2001

Hi,

It is located on the drivers side, above the transmission, between the engine block and the exhaust pipe from the front four cylinders.

A tip, wait for it to cool down, it's a tight spot, water hoses and wires all in the way, and that's after you remove the air cleaner assembly. Not really that bad when it's cool.

Or, check under the air cleaner on the 4.9 engine

Best regards

96 deVille. Think the oil pressure sending unit is leaking. How do you remove. Mine is located above the AC pressure lines and I can't reach.

Hello: The oil pressure sending unit is located on the oil filter adapter, which is behind the lower front engine mount. It is best to get a deep oil pressure socket to do the task. Check with Advance Auto, Auto Zone, O'Reilly, or NAPA for the socket.

Where is the oil pressure switch located? 99 Caddy Deville

Hello, Under the car in the front end, remove bottom cover You will see a bracket approximately in the center behind this bracket is the oil filter adapter, the oil filter is on the passenger side and the oil pressure sending unit is on the opposite side (difficult to see) You will need a oil pressure sending unit socket to remove it after you remove the electrical connector. Hope this helps
