Question about 1992 Chevrolet Lumina APV

Hello i got a 92 chevy lumina apv with a 3.1 it starts and runs slugish and dies i disconected the map sensor and it ran good could this be my problem

Yes this could be the problem. the pcm is getting the wrong info and shutting engine down.

If you have a check engine light on, than it is likely a sensor that needs to be replaced. If filter has been changed, you may have weak fuel pressure, or a bad sensor. A leaky fuel injector will also cause this

1994 chevy lumina van. It will start and idle but stalls when gas


Try replacing the throttle position sensor. I had the same problem in my truck. It would start and run for a bit but as soon as you let off of the pedal, it would die. Try it and see if it works.

Motor turns over good but wont start


please.. 1991 chevy lumina..mech has car for 4 days..
repl ICM.ECM..checked ..all fuses.cranks..no run..smell fuel.
says spark good.Fuel press @ 42. put light on fuel injec sensor
..tells me weak signal( light shud be brighter) .Says it ran once
in 4 days for 2 min & died..." tells me injectors not accepting fuel
